Activities
We’re often out and about doing things to help us stay in shape, or improve our performance in races. We call it training, but deep down inside, we probably just have a masochistic streak. We regularly run, ride and paddle around Canberra, and get in a bit of climbing at the indoor climbing centres. So, if you’re ever keen to get out for a bit of action, drop us a line!
- Pigeon House Mountain
- Pigeon House mountain is a popular little hike down near Ulladulla; it takes up to four hours, and provides fantastic views of the region. Great for hikers who enjoy stairs....
- Mount Koszciuszko
- There are three ways to hike up Mt Koszciuszko: starting from the chairlifts at Thredbo, taking the Summit Walk from Charlotte’s Pass and taking the Main Range Walk from Charlotte’s Pass. We tried them all!
- Bendeela To Beehive Point
- The Kangaroo River from Bendeela campground to Beehive Point provides a nice, easy paddle with plenty of fantastic scenery and wildlife. Learn all about the paddle, how to get there and where to camp.
- Fossicker’s Flat
- The paddle to Fossicker’s Flat up the Shoalhaven River passes through the ghost forest and Shoalhaven Gorge. Definitely a sight to see! Learn all about the paddle from our paddle plan.
